Mock Data Filler is built to generate mock form data locally. We do not sell, share, or transmit your data.

What the extension processes

After you actively invoke the extension, it reads form structure and field labels—such as input names, IDs, placeholders, labels, and accessibility attributes—to determine which kind of mock value to generate. This processing happens locally in your browser.

What we collect

We do not collect personal information, page content, form values, generated values, browsing history, usage analytics, or telemetry. Mock Data Filler makes no external network requests.

Storage

Your preferences, saved templates, and any custom datasets you create are stored using Chrome storage. They remain under your control in your browser and may sync through Chrome only when your Chrome account settings enable Chrome sync.

How generated data is used

Generated values are inserted only into the form you choose to fill. Mock Data Filler uses reserved example.com domain for generated email addresses; these addresses are not deliverable public inboxes.

Permissions

The extension uses the active tab only after you invoke it to interact with the current page, Chrome storage to remember settings and templates, context menus for quick actions, and scripting to perform the requested fill action. It does not have persistent access to your browsing activity.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.
